Message from Dave

This is my first blog of the trip. I started driving in Oklahoma and 5 minutes into my trip saw a coyote that was cool. After that it was just straight driving you know theres not much out that way.
We got to Oklahoma City and saw where the Thunder play basketball and winding on the most curved interstate I've ever been on Zach complained the whole time about it.
Then we got to the Texas State line and stopped and took our picture at the sign. It was the first time back to my birth state since I was 2. After the picture was taken Corey punched out a deer that was charging at us.
Then we stopped and gassed up and found some ice and played in it and took a picture on the mound of about 5 ft. As we were driving through Texas we hit some fog that was so thick I couldn't see 20ft in front of me.
Drove past the giant windmills, Corey and Jon are passed out in the backseat at this point. Saw the Huge Cross and then stopped in Amarillo and got some Waffle house and met a guy cheering for Bama.
Final stop of Texas was a nice little 3 am trip to the Cadillac Ranch where we spray painted the cars and pretty much froze our asses off.

  1. Dear Dave,
Keep it up, drive safely, and watch out for potholes, cops, and run-on sentences.
    Sincerely,
    Andy
