After tracking lots of weather over the past couple days, the interstate forecast for our trip is excellent. There won't be any precipitation at all according to weather.com. It also shows all of the interstates being in great condition. I know the moms following our blog are happy about that. One interesting note is that near the Arizona/New Mexico border it is forecast to be around 8 degrees. BRRR.The weather for gameday is going to be incredible with a high of 72 and partly cloudy skies. I can already see myself walking into the stadium and taking in what is sure to be an incredible and electric atmosphere.
The group is getting together tomorrow (or today, I'm up late) to nail down some final details and maybe some fun "goals" for the trip (i.e. take a picture at 2 major college campuses, Hoover Dam, etc.). I'm so excited about the trip that I'm starting to have problems sleeping! Oh well.
Well, the team is in LA, and I'm anxious to join them there. The next update from me will be tomorrow evening, and I'll post some of the "goals" that we decide on as a group. Until then...
